Ferrari Believes in Prancing Hybrids, Not Electric Horses

Ferrari is not joining the fast track toward all-electric vehicles. Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo stated the following about his opinion on hybrids vs. electric cars: “I don’t believe in electric cars, but I strongly believe in hybrids.” That sentiment was made very clear with the introduction of the insanely powerful LaFerrari hybrid this year, which pushes out 950 Prancing Horses. First-Ever Land Rover Diesel Electric Models

The first-ever Land Rover diesel electric models are here: the Range Rover Hybrid and the Range Rover Sport Hybrid. The names, while lacking a certain creativity, communicate precisely what the luxury SUVs are. These up-and-comers will be at the Frankfurt Auto Show and will be available overseas shortly thereafter. Tesla is not considered to be a household name, but that idea may be changing. The brand has silently become a bestseller in the state of California, where their electric powertrains are better accepted than in other areas of the country.
