After many years of concepts and teasing, BMW has officially released the final details for its i8 luxury hybrid car. Eager buyers can now account for actual cost, added options costs and special trim packages. All details aside, it will be an exhilarating first for BMW i8 hybrid buyers! Ferrari Believes in Prancing Hybrids, Not Electric Horses

Ferrari is not joining the fast track toward all-electric vehicles. Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo stated the following about his opinion on hybrids vs. electric cars: “I don’t believe in electric cars, but I strongly believe in hybrids.” That sentiment was made very clear with the introduction of the insanely powerful LaFerrari hybrid this year, which pushes out 950 Prancing Horses. First-Ever Land Rover Diesel Electric Models

The first-ever Land Rover diesel electric models are here: the Range Rover Hybrid and the Range Rover Sport Hybrid. The names, while lacking a certain creativity, communicate precisely what the luxury SUVs are. These up-and-comers will be at the Frankfurt Auto Show and will be available overseas shortly thereafter.
