Rolls-Royce Limited was a British car and, from 1914, aero-engine manufacturing company founded by Henry Royce and Charles Stewart Rolls on 15 March 1906. In 1973, the car division was separated from Rolls-Royce Limited as Rolls-Royce Motors. Rolls-Royce Limited continued as a nationalized company until it was privatized in 1987 as Rolls-Royce plc. Rolls-Royce is now a subsidiary of BMW. Brief history aside, this is an outstanding luxury car rental and brand. A regal Rolls-Royce rental is a fantastic way to feel the history of the car in Miami, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Rare Spirit of Ecstasy Stolen from a Rolls Royce

A rare Rolls Royce Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament was boldy stolen in the UK recently. A vintage Rolls Royce was parked safely in its garage when it was broken into and vandal(s) made off with the kneeling Spirit of Ecstasy emblem from the bonnet. This is a story about a man and his Rolls Royce…more specifically, his love for the car. Allen Swift’s father gave him a 1928 Rolls Royce Piccadilly P1 roadster as a graduation gift (in 1928). Swift loved the car so much that he drove it for 78 years! He is credited with owning the same Rolls Royce longer than anyone else in the world.
