Exotic Car Crashes

It seems that Lindsay Lohan spends more time and energy in legal battles than she does memorizing lines for roles! The actress has recently been slapped with yet another lawsuit, accused of striking a nanny while driving a Maserati rental on September 1st, 2010. Stories vary, some claim it was Lohan’s Maserati, others say it was a rental, the actress has owned a couple.

When you have a 10-year-old son and a tempting exotic car like a Maserati, it may be wise to lock the car and the keys! A 10-year-old American boy accessed the keys to his father’s $200,000 Maserati in Hong Kong and took off on an ill-fated joyride that ended with an exotic car crash and his arrest!

When an exotic sports car like a Lamborghini goes up against a highway retaining wall, the winner is always going to be the wall. It hardly matters how many horses lurk under the hood of the Lamborghini when it slams into solid concrete! A free Lamborghini Murcielago was a dream-come-true for truck driver David Dopp, who won the “Joe Schmo to Lambo” contest at his local gas station in Utah. Thousands of people entered the competition to win the Lamborghini, and Dopp beat out the remaining 9 finalists at Lavelle Edwards Stadium for the win. That is where Dopp’s lucky streak ended.

A woman in her 20s created quite the spectacle at the Maserati-Ferrari of New England dealership in Boston as she flipped her Corvette upside down while attempting a bit of showing off! Spectator accounts describe the yellow Corvette mistiming a burnout, clipping a curb and abruptly flipping onto its hood…an exotic car crash of embarrassing proportions!

It can be a bit of a challenge to see while backing up in a supercar like a Lamborghini, but this driver was apparently completely blind! Perhaps it was the blind pop singer who drove the Ferrari 182 miles per hour last year? Seriously though, watch the clip below and you will cringe at how close the Lambo comes to the Audi. What happens when an exotic car enthusiast group joyride goes awry? Millions of dollars in damages and 14 very disgruntled sports car owners! So what happened? Video at bottom of post!

The group was driving to nearby Hiroshima when police say the driver of one of the Ferraris attempted to change lanes and hit the median barrier. This led to the Ferrari spinning across the freeway, causing a very expensive exotic car crash!

The damage is extensive. Thankfully there were only minor injuries!

Luxury cars like the Lamborghini can be used for any purpose on earth, even charity! This was displayed on Halloween at around 11 a.m. when a man dressed as Batman created quite the scene when his Batmobile (A Lamborghini) became disabled! It is unclear which prompted more attention, the getup or the sports car.

Hey, it beat Justin Bieber’s Batmobile attempt…which was interesting (and I mean interesting in the insulting British way).

We at Imagine Lifestyles are still anxiously awaiting delivery of our Lamborghini Aventador rental, but now a 2nd Aventador has reportedly crashed! The exotic car crash occurred in Daytona over the weekend when an employee took the supercar out for a final lap prior to leaving the circuit…a decision they likely sorely regret!

Yes, that includes our Ferrari rentals…although the Ferrari FF may do well on the ice road in Canada! Somehow I just do not see a new segment emerging called “Ice Road Ferrari’s”…call me crazy.

Who would have thought that suburban Philadelphia could be a precarious place for a new Porsche? Ok, so that is a bit of a stretch, but I am sure Bam Margera was shocked when another motorist in Philly’s burbs sideswiped his Porsche Panamera! This comes on the heels of a friend causing $45k in damage by filling Bam's Lamborghini with diesel fuel. Damn, Bam!

This Ferrari 355 GTS was not stronger than brick…because it completely tried to break in! In the Netherlands, no one informed this unfortunate driver that you simply do not, under any circumstances, attempt to park your luxury car in the house…sigh. Well, wherever there are exotic cars, there will always be exotic car crashes (a universal truth, follow link for more!), and so long as no one is injured, the only pain comes from my abs from laughing so hard!

It is natural to laugh under extreme duress, but surfboard designer Roberto Ricci seemed somewhat thoughtless about the fact that his act of foolishness led to the destruction of an Aston Martin Rapide! What is that act of stupidity committed, you ask? (Video at bottom of post!)

A public transport vehicle has wreaked havoc on an Italian stallion…no, not Sylvester Stallone, but a spankin’ new Ferrari California. Regardless of who started this fight, the bus definitely won the battle! The California in California suffered serious damage, and thankfully the driver is ok. (Video footage at bottom of post)
