If you are behind the wheel of a sexy Cadillac Escalade, you should be aware that it is among the most stolen vehicles.  Yes, this luxury SUV is in high demand on both markets-sales and steals.

The most stolen Escalades are the 2007-2009 models; in fact, they are the most frequently stolen vehicles in the United States (according to Highway Loss Data Institute).  Watch your wheels, Snooki!  You don’t want to get blasted and pass out in your Escalade; you may wake up with some unwanted company.

The infamously tacky cast of “Jersey Shore” is being transplanted to chic Miami for season 2.  Yes, the self-proclaimed “Guidos/Guidettes” will be touting their self-centered, trashy idea of sophistication that so many have come to adore on our beach lines.  And will the world ever be watching!  The question is, will Miami accept the cast?

That is the thing about Reality TV, the more outrageous, the more people want, and then it must continue to become more shocking to please the audience.  And this theory is no different when it comes to the cast of Jersey Shore.

I have heard much talk of the new 4-door Aston Martin Rapide rental.  It seems to go against nature to have 4 doors on a luxury sports car rental, but it also has its advantages-one being I could actually rent it on vacation and fit everyone in my party.  What are your thoughts on it?  How many people can comfortably ride in it?

I am a Miami local, but my family and I are relatively new to the area (less than one year).  We love the city and especially the beach.  We go out for dinner at what seems like a different and more exotic restaurant every weekend, and find that there are many things to keep us entertained.  I love your luxury blog and the exotic feel that Miami offers us for our lifestyle.

My question is what events are put together by the community that we may not be aware of?  The longer we are here, the more we want to become a part of the community.  I know there are likely some really interesting local traditions that we could adopt as a family.  Any tips would be appreciated.

For those of you who have been following the case of Florida attorney Scott Rothstein’s ponzi scheme, the latest is the auction that will be held to sell his fleet of luxury cars and yachts.  Might I mention that the inventory is quite shocking, in fact, it is jaw-dropping.

I love to read your luxury blog before I start my day at the office every morning!  I live in New York, and because I work so much, I often take my family on long weekend escapes to squeeze in some quality time with them.  Next month I plan to take them to Miami and South Beach for some fun in the sun.

What hotels do you recommend for a large family to stay in?  I will be bringing my wife, two kids and also my parents.  I would like to position ourselves to where we can walk to the beach and a variety of exotic restaurants. 
Also, since I am traveling with six people, what type of SUV rental do you recommend?  I can’t see myself renting a van in luxurious South Beach.

All luxury car fans recognize the winged badge on the nose of any Aston Martin, but would you recognize it on the nose of say, a much more diminutive Aston?  Let’s revisit the Aston Martin Cygnet.

This is a teeny member of the luxury car family, measuring in at barely 10 feet from nose to tail.  Look at the photo to the right, now try to picture James Bond behind the wheel…amused yet?  I am!

This is a unique 3-door hatchback, quite futuristic and ideal for city living.  Originally the Cygnet was billed as a sort of sidekick, or the equivalent of a tender to a luxury yacht.  It seems the concept has re-emerged to fit the role as a luxury smartcar, and the timing could not be better, and is in-tune with current global realities and the worldwide auto industry’s decidedly green future.

What is more exciting is that Aston Martin is not the only company betting there is a market for downsized luxury cars.  To compliment new emission regulations in Europe and North America geared toward improving fuel economy, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac and Audi have all chimed in with their own downsized but upscale additions to their luxury fleets.

Mercedes-Benz has enjoyed success with its Smart brand, and BMW has succeeded across the board, from its large SUVs to its Mini brand.  It certainly seems all brands are interested in placing their unique take on the luxury hybrid market via their own downsized models.  It will be a little interesting to see how large of an impact these auto bits will have!
