 There will soon be a fresh new way to cool off in the Middle East-via an $1 billion dollar ski resort.  Yes, the government and private sector partnership in Dubai has announced its plans to bring the winter sport experience to Dubai.  Dubai is famous for its excess-luxury hotels, exotic rental cars, exquisite cuisine, and now it is about to add even more indulgence.

Plans include an oversized ski dome set to rise from Dubai’s mega tourism development project-Dubailand.  The project is called “Dubai Sunny Mountain Ski Dome”, and it is the first of its kind in the Middle East.

Star Island is located in the Bahamas, and is announcing exciting plans for an eco friendly future-in the form of a luxury resort powered by trade winds, sun and currents.  But it gets more fabulous. 

Star Island is a 35-acre cay near the Bahamian island of Eleuthera.  Developers intend to transform this island of sand, coral rock, and trees into the world’s first carbon-neutral island resort.  This eco friendly luxury resort will define green, with no reliance on fossil fuels that add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.

As all red-blooded Ferrari fans know, the Ferrari Challenge has managed to creep up on us again and will be starting next weekend.  This is an exhilarating annual event that allows Ferrari owners to race their exotics against other owners-but did you know you can also enter the race in a Ferrari rental?  Awesome.  Even more awesome?  Imagine Lifestyles is offering a special Ferrari F430 Spider rental for the event.

That is actually how I discovered your blog, I had been searching for restaurants in Miami that I may not be aware exist, and found your blog about Nobu Sushi.  The added bonus is that you also cover exotic cars, which I love nearly as much as exotic food.  The content variety is awesome and a nice lunchtime read for me at the office.

Some of the most well-respected and recognized industry principals will again congregate in Miami Beach to educate and entertain the thousands of fans of this annual event. 

Last week Imagine Lifestyles was invited by Ferrari of North America to test drive the new 2010 Ferrari California at The Collection in Coral Gables.  Two test cars were provided for the event, and we were definitely surprised by the new model.

We opted to test out the black on black Ferrari California, which was an incredible look for the luxury car.  Based on our test drive, we can relay that this is truly the first-ever exotic sports car that can serve as a daily driver.  I know you are scowling incredulously in disbelief at that statement, so let’s talk about why.

We are following-up on the highly anticipated Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, which made its debut recently at the Frankfurt Motor Show.  The first delivery in Singapore has been made, at the bargain price of $2.1 million dollars. 

We know you are thinking, “but it was supposed to cost only one million!”  Well folks, you can thank the strategic marketing geniuses at Lambo for that.

It’s another Super Bowl that will go down as a “thriller.”
And one with a few twists, some trickery, some bold decisions, and, ultimately, a popular outcome.

Each year, football season comes to an inevitable climax with the NFL Super Bowl Championship Game.  Suddenly, all of the regular football season events are dominated by an excitement and series of sexy commercials and even the Lingerie Bowl.

What is hotter than a girl who loves football?  How about a model that plays football, during Super Bowl halftime, in front of millions of viewers-in her lingerie.  Yes, the Lingerie Bowl began in 2004 at Super Bowl XXXVIII, and its popularity is literally on the rise. 

This tradition is as hot as the Victoria Secret Super Bowl commercials.  The girls are scorching on the field, sporting sexy little nothings and looking absolutely adorable with the football face paint.  We are curious how many viewers are actually keeping score, or if anyone bets on their favorite team.  Is it possible to have a favorite team?  We like them all. 

Aston Martin fans can relish the prospect of being among the first in the United States to drive the new Aston Martin Rapide. 

Yes, there is only one dealership in the U.S. where you can call and arrange an appointment to drive this exotic specimen. There is, after all, only one four-door luxury sports sedan that can be called an Aston Martin.

Maybe it should just be touch-football.  Or flag football.
The NFL's Pro Bowl, or the league's equivalent of an all-star game, was kind of a friendly, schoolyard, last-touchdown-wins, fratboy party in Miami on Sunday night. 

Fun enough for those involved, not all that entertaining for fans of the real version of the game, but a chance for corporate schmoozers and autograph-seekers to have a great time.
